These Terms of Sale govern sales made on the website www.sweet-laces.com, owned by SAS MADE IN LOVE, registered under SIRET 912 293 149 00015, intra-Community VAT FR15912293149, whose registered office is at Rue Zone Industrie la Vallière, Bâtiment 11, 06730 Saint-André-de-la-Roche, France.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all orders placed on sweet-laces.com by consumers within the meaning of the French Consumer Code. By ordering a product, the customer fully and unreservedly accepts these terms.

2. Products

The products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, a slight variation in the presentation of the products (in particular in colour) may occur depending on the screen or device used.

MADE IN LOVE reserves the right to change the range of products offered on the website at any time.

3. Prices

Prices shown on the website are in euros inclusive of all taxes, excluding delivery costs.
MADE IN LOVE reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced on the basis of the rate in force when the order is validated.

4. Orders

The customer places an order via sweet-laces.com. The order is confirmed by a summary email.

MADE IN LOVE reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of an existing dispute with the customer, total or partial non-payment of a previous order, or for any legitimate reason.

5. Payment

Payments are secured via the services offered on the website (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). The customer may pay by bank card or any other means offered during the ordering process.

The order is deemed final once payment has been received in full.

6. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address given by the customer when ordering.
MADE IN LOVE undertakes to dispatch orders within 2 to 5 working days, unless otherwise stated. Delivery times are given as an indication only and can under no circumstances constitute a firm commitment.

In the event of prolonged delay, the customer may contact customer service at hello@sweet-laces.com.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision by email to hello@sweet-laces.com. Products must be returned in their original, unopened packaging, together with the invoice.

Return postage remains at the customer's expense. The refund, including the original delivery costs at the standard rate, is issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned items.

Exceptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products or products made to order.

8. Returns and refunds

The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery of the product (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), as well as from the guarantee against hidden defects. If a product is defective or does not conform, the customer contacts Sweetlaces at hello@sweet-laces.com. Return costs are then borne by MADE IN LOVE, which will replace or refund the product.

9. Liability

MADE IN LOVE cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the products purchased.

MADE IN LOVE cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the internet, in particular a service interruption, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses.

Furthermore, MADE IN LOVE cannot be held liable for delays or non-performance of an order in the event of force majeure, as defined by the case law of the French courts (in particular strikes, fires, natural disasters, pandemics, transport blockages, etc.).

10. Personal data

The personal information collected via the website is necessary for processing orders and managing the customer relationship. It is kept confidential and secure.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the customer has a right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability of their data.

These rights may be exercised at any time by email to: hello@sweet-laces.com, enclosing valid proof of identity.

Personal data is never passed on to third parties without the customer's prior consent, save where required by law.

11. Intellectual property

All elements appearing on the sweet-laces.com website, whether visual, audio or textual (in particular images, logos, graphics, videos, texts, domain names, technical elements, site architecture, etc.), are the exclusive property of MADE IN LOVE or are subject to a right of use.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, distribution or exploitation, in whole or in part, of these elements without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited and may constitute infringement within the meaning of Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

12. Applicable law – Disputes

These terms of sale are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact MADE IN LOVE customer service first at hello@sweet-laces.com in order to seek an amicable solution.

Failing an amicable agreement, the customer may use the online dispute resolution platform set up by the European Commission: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

In the absence of an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction over the dispute.

13. Amendments to the terms of sale

MADE IN LOVE reserves the right to amend these terms of sale at any time. The applicable terms are those in force when the customer places the order, accessible at all times on the website.
