Pop's, the colors you wear every weekend

Pop's

There are match days, and then there's the rest of the week. The jersey comes out on Saturday, then goes back in the closet. Pop's is the range that keeps your club's colors on your feet the rest of the time, on laces produced under official license with the clubs and events themselves.

Six pairs, six clubs

Back in 2020, before Sweetlaces existed, Silni customized six pairs for a customer, each in the colors of a club she follows. To tie the six creations together, he dyed the laces in a gradient. It was the first time. And it was those laces, not the shoes, that sparked the reactions and the requests.

That's where the brand was born. Pop's goes back to that starting point.

The pack comes straight from the stadium

The Pop's packaging borrows the popcorn bag, the real one, the kind you get in the stands. Just one change: the classic red and white of the bag already belongs to too many teams, so the pack is grey and white to take nobody's colors. The club's colors stay inside.

On the front, a window shows the shade. On the side, a sticker carries the club crest, the length and the look of the lace.

What "licensed" actually changes

The colorways come from the current season's jerseys and are locked in with the club, not guessed from a photo. The club crest is on the pack.

And above all, every lace carries the club slogan printed at the tail end of the lace, in a typeface taken from the banners in the stands. At OGC Nice, home reads ISSA NISSA, away NICE LA BELLE and the third LA RIVIERA.

On the OGC Nice and Quai 54 editions, the tip carries the Ring Signature, the pink and yellow double ring you'll find across the other Sweetlaces ranges.

Three laces, one per jersey: home, away, third. The red and black of the home kit, the cream of the away, the blue of the third. The plastic tips pick up a secondary color from the jersey, giving you a point of contrast at the end of the lacing.

All three also come as a pack.

Quai 54, 2025 edition

Pop's Quai 54 2025 Yellow lace, yellow-to-black gradient

Quai 54 has been held in Paris for more than twenty years. Founded in 2003 by Hammadoun Sidibé with Thibaut de Longeville and Almamy Soumah, the tournament has become the biggest streetball event in the world, and it long ago went beyond the court: concerts, fashion, a whole weekend of culture.

The 2025 edition brings two laces, Red and Yellow, both fading to black, with the Quai54 marking and the event's stripes at the tail end of the lace.

The best way to wear your colors

The slogan and the stripes are printed right at the tail of the lace, where the gradient ends. So it all comes down to the last few centimeters.

The easiest move is to leave both ends loose along the tongue. If you'd rather tie them, keep the bow loose enough for the ends to show, that works just as well.
